2 day course - Your models will be required to have A PATCH TEST before the practical day, these will be posted out to you
Day 1 - TWO models (10.30am/ 12.30pm
Day 2 - ONE model (10.30am)
This 2 day course teaches all aspects of creating the perfect brow for the complete beginner. During the course you will learn 4 key techniques for working on the brow:
Threading
You will learn 3 different techniques to define and shape the brows using thread. This is a highly sort after technique and will provide you with the correct skills to treat your clients brows
Eyebrow waxing
Whether it be to tidy or shape, waxing is a staple service when it comes to working on the brows. Learn how to quickly, easily and painlessly leave your clients with the brows they desire
Shaping
A tweezing service is one of the most traditional ways to treat a brows. Whether you are completely reshaping or complimenting another service with a quick tidy, this technique is a must for any brow technician
Brow Tinting
The perfectly shaped brow can be given crisp definition with tint. Learn the correct ratio and application technique to finish off your perfectly shaped brows
Brow Lamination
Your model must have Full brows, NO Henna or SPMU
You will learn the art of creating fully, natural, fluffy brows using the brow lamination technique. You will cover brow preparation, analysis of face shapes, accurate brow measuring, brow lamination.
These techniques can be used individually or in a combination to create the perfect Defined Brows

- Salon Safety & Hygiene
- Be able to consult, plan and prepare for eye treatments with clients
- Be able to carry out each brow technique
- Understand how to work safely and effectively when providing eye treatments
- Anatomy & Physiology – Hair
- Understand contra-indications that prevent or restrict eye treatments
- Understand equipment, materials, products, techniques and treatment planning for eyes
- Be able to provide aftercare advice for clients
Evidence requirements
- You must be able to demonstrate a client consultation
- Carry out each of the brow techniques
- Complete theory online prior to attending practical day
Course Structure
Theory and H&S are completed online before attending
On the day of the course:
We start with introductions and house keeping . Key points of the theory, completed online are recapped and related to the service. All products, tools and equipment are discussed including storage and H&S precautions.
The tutor will demonstrate a client consultation and perform a detailed demonstration of the service whilst answering any questions you may have.
After the demo, each student will complete the full service under the supervision of the tutor.
At then end there is another opportunity to ask questions and discuss what has been covered during the day. However, don't worry should you think of something later you can call or email for support.
After the Training
It is important that after training you practise your new skills on friends and family - carry out 5-10 practise sessions in order to make sure you have fully understood everything covered in training and improve your delivery time. If you find you are having any issues, that will give us an opportunity to address any problems before you start offering this service to clients.
